My maternal grandmother, Merrill Odom, died when my mom was 15 years old. Because of her, one girl in every branch of the Merrill Odom family (as far as I know) has the middle name Merrill. My cousin Melissa Merrill Odom MaGill was the first to get the middle name. It has since come to my knowledge that every Merrill has been a tomboy. Then, one of my college professors had the class write a paper on what we wanted our legacy to be and what it would be if we died tomorrow. That got me thinking.

"What legacys have been been passed down to me?"
