Camp of Champions

So... Yea, Camp of Champions. My church regularly goes every year to Hattiesburg, Mississippi for an awesome time of growth spiritually and personally. This year will in all likelyhood be my last year going, and I might be a co-captian. Want I want you to see is that I have dreams for camp.

My first year at camp I made only three friends and only one of them was on my team. I was terrified of my captian and really insecure. In fact, I hung out with the concessions people and helped them until they sent me back to my team.

My goal is to make the teams united (not that they aren't). What I mean is, I want my team to know each other on more than the superfical level that I've felt. I want us talking about what really matters, not just who can play volleyball better or the camp showers. I'd like to see my team connect and stay connected. Ask the hard questions. Fight the right fights. That kind of stuff.

I suppose in short what I want is a team that will shake mountains. There is little more than six weeks until Camp. So I've decided to start praying and seeking God about my team, whether or not I'm co-captian. I'd like it you would join me.
Thanks,
E. Merrill
